What are the best of the best movies?

All types of movie lists are created to showcase favorite movies of a given demographic. I will use the 1001 Movies to see before you die, and IMDBs top 1000 movies of all time as a guide to movies that are worth watching. I will determine if it is worth it to even see some of these movies, some are over-rated, others have movies that did a better job with the subject matter.
