Does it deserve its placement on this list? – Yes

One sentence review – The further you go from California, the worse things will become

I could see why this was included in the American Film Institute’s top 100 films list. The soundtrack and acting are great. There’s a lot of symbolism (but it doesn’t hit you over the head if you’re just not into it). It’s a counterculture classic!
